The Ludwig Supraphonic has been on all your favourite records, and it's the snare I try to always keep in stock. Every one I list is a genuine vintage drum that I've sourced myself, mostly in the US. I strip it down, clean it, check it over and set it up with new heads before it ships from Victoria, and the photos are always of the exact drum you're buying.
Not all Supras are the same. The early 60s drums wear the Keystone badge, which is the one to hunt down if you want that 60s flavour. The pointed blue/olive badge is the 70s model. The COB is the rare, heavier chrome over brass version, the Super Sensitive has the parallel action throw-off, and the 14x6.5 LM402 is the model Bonham famously played.
Sold drums stay on this page as a record of what's come through. If you're also after an Acrolite, or want to browse everything I have, see all vintage snares. A Snareweight is an easy way to control ring without tape on the head.
