These are Rare and highly sought after, so I feel pretty tempted to keep this one myself!
I sourced it in person at The Chicago Vintage Drum show in 2024. It's certainly showing signs of it's age, but it's fully playable and ready to go out fo the box.
You can immediately tell a COB Supra the second you pick it up - they're much heavier than the more common snare of the same name, even so, this snare still only weighs a total of about 4.1kg. They also don't stick with a magnet!

For a snare this age it's in good condition, not perfect, but being original there's some signs of wear. I stripped this one down to give it a solid wipe down (not a full-blown restoration but a solid clean) and what I really like about this one is how solid every piece is on it. The Lugs are solid and all align in place perfectly. These were a thicker version of the imperial lug. The hoops have a little more weight to them. I replaced the top hoop with a new COB triple flange as the original was not brass.
Also COB Supra's don't pit!
The drum is in excellent working order and would be ready to go straight into the studio or out live.
These drums are hard to come by, especially in Australia! We've priced it lower than normal because it's not in pristine condition - the photos are accurate so you know it's still great!
