Where the drum set world collides with the orchestra percussion section. Toppers are interchangeable mallet heads that fit securely onto the tip of any medium drumstick, made by Tackle Instrument Supply and Dragonfly Percussion and based on a traditional Austrian timpani mallet. This pack gets you all three, so you can try every feel on your own kit, and save 10% when you buy them together. You get a pair of each:
- Hard Leather: 5 stacked layers of leather. A clear, dark sound that makes your toms sound huge, with excellent resilience off the head for easy double strokes.
- Medium Canvas: 22 stacked layers of canvas and flannel. A warm, soft sound on drums, seamless cymbal swells, and decent rebound for doubles. Also great for rudiments on a table top or pad.
- Soft Flannel: 28 stacked layers of soft flannel. Incredibly soft, for a truly dark, warm sound with virtually no attack on drums and cymbals.
