Dragonfly Beater - Medium Canvas

The Dragonfly Medium Canvas is built from 40 layers of canvas discs, stacked tightly together. The result is a super round, bass-y sound with a surprising amount of punch and clarity.

It's softer than your standard felt beater, but it still gives you a fat, bold, warm sound without sacrificing attack or punch.

Dragonfly Percussion has spent 20 years making mallets for the world's top orchestras. Its kick drum beaters bring that attention to timbre to the drum set, adapted from Viennese-style timpani mallets and built from tightly stacked discs of flannel, canvas and leather. Full-bodied, warm and responsive, it's unlike anything else you've tried.

• 40 layers of canvas discs, tightly stacked
• Round, bass-y tone with punch and clarity
• Softer than a standard felt beater, with attack and punch intact
