This drum was originally part of a very limited release of snares called 'Circles for Change' where proceeds of sales were donated to various charities across the US.

The original press release shares;

"C&C drums were born out of the thriving, vibrant jazz scene of Kansas City MO - Jazz is not indigenous to Kansas City, but it certainly came of age there. Bill Cardwell, via his classified ads in the local Thrifty Nickel, bought the drums left over from this golden era and brought them back to life - also bringing to life the company he and his son Jake run to this day. Jazz is one of the many gifts birthed by black culture, and C&C would not be here without it. We’re now in another golden era, an era of awakening and of justice - and Circles for Change is our small way of contributing to the fight for both. We stand with those who march, protest, speak out, and risk their freedom (and lives) to make this country a better place to live for everyone."
